Cameroon is a Central African country that produces a significant amounts of cocoa and coffee per year to the respective industries of the world. Its climate is various from semi-arid in the north while the southern inlet has a more bearable climate. It has 230 different languages spoken through out the country.

In the 1970s, the country created a ministry of tourism to cultivate a foothold for a sector for its economy. It has roughly million tourists per year. The infrastructure is better than most African countries making it unlikely, one having less chance of getting bog down for a considerable period of time.

 

ATTRACTIONS 

The attractions are Mount Cameroon, which is an active volcanic mountain. The Mount Cameroon Race of Hope is held annually at the mountain which draws a 5,000 member audience. It is runners from around the world.

Kurop National Park has the Kurop National Forrest which is around 60 million years old. It has 4509 herbs, 600 species of trees and shrubs. There are numerous camps that offer overnight stay and dinner for tourists. Visitors are requested to bring warm clothing, long sleeve clothing and ointment for insect bites.

 

CUISINE

Yams, rice, millet, and maize are some of the top foods in Cameroon. Fish is a very important staple due to the price of chicken and meat being too expensive.  There are five star restaurants that serve French European; their are Italian five stars, Greek, and the good ol’ American burger and fries.
